Former world number thirty four Caroline Wozniacki and former world number oneCaroline Bencic are two world female tennis stars who have been confirmed by World Tennis Federation to miss out of Roland Garros which is set to commence on Sunday.

Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki has pulled out of the French Open because of injury.
The 25-year-old Dane has been struggling with an ankle problem and missed recent tournaments in Madrid and Rome, dropping to 34 in the world.
The WTA confirmed she would miss the event at Roland Garros, which starts on Sunday.
Belinda Bencic of Switzerland, the world number eight, has also withdrawn because of a back injury.
The 19-year-old has been troubled by the problem since March.
She will be replaced in the main draw by Lauren Davis, 22, of the United States, who reached the second round at Roland Garros in 2012.
The draw for the tournament takes place on Friday.
Bencic reached the second round at Roland Garros last year.
With these stars out, Serena Williams might just be on her way clinch unto yet another title after this week’s victory at the Italian Open.
