Messi Sends Signed Argentina Shirt to Barack Obama’s Daughtersmess
Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is not only one of the greatest footballer to ever grace the beautiful game, he also comes off as one of the coolest off the pitch – there are numerous examples to back this claim in his glittering career. Recently, the five-time ballon d’Or winner sent signed and personalised Argentina shirts to Barack Obama’s daughters, Sasha and Malia, who happen to be his fans.

During Obama’s visit to the South American country last week, the US president revealed that his daughters wanted to meet Messi, who incidentally, was away on international duty with the national side.

While not quite getting round to arranging a personal audience, the Barcelona magician had two Argentina shirts printed with ‘Malia’ and ‘Sasha’, and his own number 10 on the back.

He then signed each one and sent them off for the girls. What a man.

If karma is a thing, the gesture should stand Messi and Barca in good stead for this evening when they face Real Madrid in El Clasico.
